H+S will be one of many exhibitors showcasing its latest products at this year’s Vertical Flight Expo & Conference . Andrew Ferguson, Commercial Director at H+S Aviation Limited, discusses why shows like Vertical Flight Expo are important for the industry and what attendees can expect to see on the stand this November.
Who is H+S Aviation and what is your area of expertise?
H+S Aviation and sister company Dallas Airmotive deliver OEM-authorised turbine engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services and support to the aviation industry backed by more than 80 years of experience. The companies have established a Global Engine Services (GES) network that provides comprehensive services for engines powering 80% of the world’s business and general aviation (B&GA) aircraft and 55% of rotorcraft fleets. For helicopter operators, GES supports various levels of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for operators including the Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300, Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6B, PT6T and PW200, and General Electric (GE) CT7 and T700 engines. The GES network includes engine MRO centres in Portsmouth, UK, and Dallas, Texas, as well as 10 regional turbine centres around the world. Additionally, our companies’ F1RST SUPPORT field service team provides rapid response and high capability on-site repair and inspection services.
Why are shows like Vertical Flight Expo important for H+S Aviation and other engine suppliers, manufacturers and maintenance companies?
Vertical Flight Expo is a premier event for our organisation to continue building relationships with prospective customers and industry peers. The event enables our team to put our most recent accomplishments out on display and promote our brand to attendees who may be in need of our services. It’s a great opportunity to build awareness of our services and capabilities to provide OEM-approved engine maintenance and repair solutions.
As an exhibitor at the show this year, what are you most looking forward to seeing this November? And what can we expect to see from H+S and Dallas Airmotive?
We are looking forward to making new connections and building on our current relationships with customers who attend. You can expect to see our team of engine experts ready to discuss Rolls-Royce M250 and RR300 engine MRO, 2019 Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6T Flat Rate Overhaul Programme details, PW200 MRO for engines coming due soon in the EMEA region, and as the OEM’s preferred engine MRO service provider, our CT7 and T700 experts will be ready to discuss our engine solutions including field service support for the platforms.
What do you think the future holds for aircraft engines? Where do you see the industry going next?
We hope the industry continues to grow and look forward to the opportunities the aviation community provides us. We are thankful for the support of our customers over the last several decades and hope that operators continue to choose H+S Aviation and Dallas Airmotive for their helicopter engine MRO needs.
